Lucky Friday the 13th
Today is Friday the 13th, a day which, legend has it, is bad luck for all. There was, however, one Friday the 13th which was a lucky day for all lovers of vintage film. August 13, 1899 was the birthday of our favorite scaremonger, Sir Alfred. Anyone who has followed me for long knows I love me a Hitchcock film, so I'm celebrating this Friday the 13th by remembering my favorite director. May he live forever in the hearts of the lovers of the macabre!
