Happy Birthday, Veda Ann Borg (1915-1973)

Two Yanks in Trinidad (1942)
Veda Ann Borg was a character actress of the 30s and 40s, mostly in "B" features playing man-hungry sexpots. She was never a big star, but was always memorable. You may remember her in her last film role as Blind Nell in The Alamo (1960). She was born on this day in 1915 in Boston.

  1. More VEDA {Ann Borg} please.

Any pix from FORGOTTEN WOMEN ['49, Monogram}?--found the poster on the web, on the hunt for a dvd on the film itself---sounds like a noir-junkie's wet dream.
*Anything* with Her Highness Queen VEDA is worth watching---ANYTHING.

  2. I think her plastic reconstructive surgery made her look similar to Dame Wendy Hiller (Pygmalion), only blonde. I think she looked better after the accident, even though she may not have felt that way.
