These photos are a testament to volunteerism and service. I'm always inspired when I see such photos of the Golden Age movie stars supporting the troops during WWII. Especially Rita, whose own brother served during the war, and whose pinup was and still is world famous; and Marlene, who as a German herself, became a symbol of the fight against Hitler. Such amazing women.
